Position Summary 

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will lead business planning, forecasting and financial reporting and analysis for Cretex Medical CDT and drive standard processes for periodic reporting to management and operations teams.  Be a strategic partner to the Senior Director of Finance, Controller, Operating Company Leadership, and mentor others in financial reporting, forecasting and analytical best practices.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Special project-based work to support improving financial reporting breadth, accuracy and efficiency
  • Support cross company projects by partnering with affiliates and Cretex Companies corporate office to drive enhanced and harmonized financial reporting solutions
  • Support annual planning and periodic forecasting processes in a timely, thorough, and accurate manner
  • Collection and analysis of operational costs to establish and maintain direct and indirect manufacturing cost standards
  • Develop ad-hoc financial models, scenarios, and analysis
  • Analyze KPIs, ensuring accuracy and enhancing automation and delivery, identify cause of variances and recommend improvements
  • Cash flow modeling for annual plan, periodic forecasts, and ad-hoc reporting
  • Utilize BI and Financial reporting tools to evaluate and deliver meaningful insights into the business
  • Deep knowledge of ERP software and other financial reporting systems, including data mining and extraction for analysis
  • Support ERP, FP&A and business analytics software implementations
  • Perform detail analysis on sales, pricing, margin, operating expenses, inflation, and productivity
  • Provide meaningful operational job performance data and insight to identify process improvements and support critical decision making
  • Monitor and investigate cost variances, drive necessary actions with cross functional team members to address deficiencies
  • Develop and update standard comprehensive financial reports and graphs for periodic reporting
  • Identify improvement activities throughout the organization to improve overall performance and profitability
  • Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
  • Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
  • Partner with other business segments:  sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and operations
  • Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
  • Participate in required company meetings
  • Maintain an organized work area (5S)
  • Participate in the Operational Excellence Program
  • Complete all other work duties as assigned
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or 10 years of relevant analytical experience
  • Significant analytical skill set including utilization of financial reporting and BI tools, including use of advance Excel tools
  • Strong quantitative abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work through and influence others
  • Ability to manage others if needed and work in teams
  • High level of business acumen
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

Pay Range

USD $97,900.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.

This is a bonus eligible postion.

20+hours:
